  1. BulletTeachers continue to teach at their own schools and experience international immersion during a break from school.  This helps to promote relationships between the two school communities.


  1. BulletVTP staff walks through the process with the visiting teachers to insure a dynamic experience.  A carefully crafted programme supports teachers as they observe, interact, and live in the host country for 2 to 4 weeks.


  1. BulletTransfer of the experience to the students in the home country is planned and expected.


  1. BulletA continued relationship between students and teachers in the home country and the visiting country is planned and nurtured.


  1. BulletVTP partners with the visiting schools to share financial responsibility for the exchanges.  The value of the experience increases as each school community financially helps to support the visiting teachers.
